This black and white vertical photograph speaks of the ascending direction of the thoughts leaving the mind. As the balloons take off from the mountain ranges of Cappadocia, they resemble the aspirational thoughts as they are created. The leading line created by the path on top of the mountain draws the attention into the image and elevates the viewer.
This photograph was awarded Highly Commended in the PLACES category at the 2020 MonoAwards International Competition.
